Carriage and packing will be charged at the current market rate for the return of items.
Our standard carriage uses a standard next day carrier service for items (max 30KG per item).
For larger items we use a pallet freight company to keep costs down and ensure larger heavy items are transported safely and correctly.
For fixed price repairs, unless specifically agreed, prices are inclusive of all parts and labour. Prices do not include V.A.T.
Our Fixed price repairs do not apply under the following circumstances:-
Printers- Exclude consumables, printheads and laser scanners
Laptops- Exclude replacement display screens and replacement sub-modules where a component level repair has not been possible
Server boards- Exclude processors
Monitors- Exclude tubes and TFT replacement where a component level repair has not been possible
Quotation based repairs
Where your repairs are undertaken on a quote first basis the following process applies;
Submit the item for repair to the workshop for diagnosis and job costing
Provide a repair quotation for the work observed for your approval
If you authorise the repair to proceed the repair will be completed and we shall contact you when it is ready to return to arrange payment and carriage
If you decline the repair we charge a diagnostic fee of £45+ vat per item
Quotation based repair charges are based on a hourly labour rate of £65 plus parts and vat.
Although the repair quotation is termed a quote it will be considered as an estimate in some circumstances
Where subsequent faults arise which were not observable during initial diagnosis (for example intermittent or unrelated faults)
Where parts, software, licenses or information supplied by you are defective or result in additional work not anticipated
All repairs are accepted on a "best endeavours" basis and ASAP reserve the right to return items not repaired. The fixed price repairs are priced on the assumption that items have not previously been attempted. Previously attempted items will be surcharged and notification will be given prior to completing the repair. Any such surcharge shall be applied even if the repair is refused.
All workshop repairs carry a 90 day return to base warranty against faulty workmanship and parts.
Your contact data will be held on our database for tracking purposes and to maintain warranty information. You may be contacted by email for customer satisfaction purposes.
Any data media held on equipment for repair may be overwritten or formatted as part of the test/diagnosis process unless ASAP is informed in writing prior to the repair.
No data recovery is included in any of our repair prices unless specifically requested.
Customer's data is solely the responsibility of the customer. ASAP will not be liable for any loss of data in any way.
