ISO 9001:2008 Quality standards

What are ISO Standards?

The "International Organisation for Standardisation" - known as ISO - is the world's largest developer of standards. ISO standards aim to make the development, manufacturing and supply of products and services more efficient, safer and cleaner for those involved - and most of them we take for granted.

Our sister company ASAP Computer Services has been ISO quality registered since 2000 and have followed the regular updates taking us to the latest ISO9001:2008 registration. We are audited by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance every 9 month. This is a well regarded British Standards professional quality system which demonstrates our commitment to quality and customer service.

The 9001:2008 quality standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation:-

  1. Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and...
  2. Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirement.

What does this mean?

From the company perspective, we ensure that we stick to our documented procedures, track and keep records of all work that we do, and continually assess these procedures in order to maintain and improve the quality of service that our customers receive.

From the customers' perspective, the standard provides peace of mind that your equipment will be dealt with in an appropriate manner and you will receive a consistently high quality of service throughout.

As part of our quality management system we review our performance every month and the performance statistics we produce are available on request. Each year we review our actual performance against our performance targets and aim for a continual improvement each year. This review is also an opportunity to address any problem areas identified.
